Alison Oakden

Alison Oakden is an experienced data professional with a strong background in statistics and research management. Currently serving as Data Director and previously holding roles such as Data Analytics Programme Manager and Research Manager for Applied Statistics at Mars since July 2008, Alison leads a team of statisticians to enhance the quality and efficiency of research studies at Waltham Petcare Science Institute. This position focuses on driving sustainable research programs to develop and improve products and services. Prior to Mars, Alison worked as a Senior Research Statistician at Waltham Petcare Science Institute and began a career as a Statistician at both Central Science Laboratory and GSK. Alison holds an MSc in Medical Statistics from the University of Leicester and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Leeds.
