Dominic Castro

Dominic Castro is an experienced IT professional with a strong focus on compliance and security, currently serving as Senior Lead, IT Compliance and Data Security Lead Engineer at Mars since September 2020. Key responsibilities include implementing solutions for the protection of personally identifiable information (PII) and asset discovery across the organization, as well as collaborating with Data Privacy, legal, and security operations teams to enhance compliance processes. Previously, Dominic has held roles including Security Engineer at the American Medical Association, where McAfee products were managed and incident response training was provided, and Information Security Analyst positions at ACGME and Walgreens, focusing on developing security strategies and ensuring adherence to standards. Additional experience includes founding Project 1077 to deliver IT solutions to non-profits and serving as a Media Volunteer at Calvary Church.
