Özge Sevimli Akgün, MSc, has extensive experience in the consumer goods and pet nutrition sectors, currently serving as Category Strategy Lead for MEA Pet Nutrition at Mars since July 2016. Akgün oversees the entire Petcare Category, driving profitability, market share, and strategic direction through data-driven analysis. Akgün's previous roles include Demand Planning Manager and Customer Service Champion at Mars, ensuring efficient demand forecasting and logistics for various products. Prior to Mars, Akgün held positions at Mondelēz International, where responsibilities encompassed supply chain management and production planning, as well as serving as a Marketing Specialist at Migros Ticaret A.Ş. Akgün holds a Master's degree in Management Engineering from Galatasaray University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Sabanci University.
