Hugh Miller

Hugh Miller is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry with extensive experience in marine and energy sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Marsh since February 2022, Hugh previously held the position of Partner at Alesco Risk Management Services from July 2018 to February 2022, and at JLT Group from January 2015 to July 2018. Prior to these roles, Hugh worked as an Insurance Placing Broker at Lloyd & Partners Limited from October 2009 to January 2015, focusing on negotiating insurance prices and renewals with underwriters. Earlier experience includes serving as an Underwriter at Chaucer Syndicates Ltd for a brief duration in 2009. Hugh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Newcastle University, completed in 2008, and attended St Edwards Oxford School from 1999 to 2004.
