John Black

John Black is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in systems administration and network management. Currently serving as a Systems Administrator at Marshall since July 2025, John has held previous positions including Intermediate System Specialist at J.D. Irving, Limited, and Senior Systems Administrator at PolyCello Emmerson Packaging and PolyCello. John began a career in IT as a Technical Support Analyst at PC Assistance and has worked in various roles, including long-term positions in network coordination and as an Aerospace Telecommunications & Information Systems Technician for the Canadian Department of Defence, where John was honourably released after completing Basic Military Qualification. John holds a degree in Electronics from the Radio College of Canada, obtained between 1993 and 1995.
