Mark Hewer

Mark Hewer is an accomplished professional in aerospace and defense, currently serving as Director of Aero Engineering Services at Marshall since January 2024, while also holding the title of Director of Customer Delivery. Previously, Mark was the CEO of Telespazio UK from September 2020 to January 2024, overseeing a leading player in the space applications and services sector. Mark's extensive experience at Leonardo spanned from April 2012 to September 2020, where responsibilities included Vice President of Integrated Mission Solutions, leading global military mission support projects, and Programme Manager positions focused on electronic warfare and operational support. Earlier roles at Selex ES and Selex S&AS involved managing large teams and strategic projects, including the Eurofighter Typhoon program. Mark began a career at BAE Systems, where early roles included project management and engineering. Both a graduate of The University of Manchester in Mechanical Engineering and Alliance Manchester Business School with a Master’s in Management, Mark possesses a strong technical and managerial foundation.
