Maia Schneider

Maia Schneider has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Maia began their career at Placer Sierra Bank as a Branch Manager, where they managed retail, lending, and branch operations. Maia then moved on to Northstar at Tahoe, where they served as the Director of Sales. After that, they joined the Town of Truckee as a Town Council Member and later became the Mayor.

Maia transitioned to the healthcare industry and worked at Tahoe Forest Hospital District as the Campaign Director, successfully raising funds for capital improvements to a rural hospital. Maia then joined Plumas Bank as the Vice President and Branch Manager, overseeing lending and retail operations.

Their next role was at Tahoe Forest Health System, where they served as the Executive Director of Foundations. During their time there, they managed fund development, organized annual campaigns, and developed a Grateful Patient program. Maia later moved on to become the Director of Community Development and Government Relations at Tahoe Forest Hospital District, where they provided project management for a coalition of California rural hospitals and helped launch the "Wellness Neighborhood" initiative.

Most recently, they worked at Marshall Medical Center as the Executive Director of Business and Strategy Development. Throughout their career, Maia has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management abilities, and a dedication to community development and healthcare.
