Tak Saito, MHA, CHFM has extensive work experience in healthcare facility management. Tak has served as the Executive Director of Facilities and Support Services at Marshall Medical Center since 2021, overseeing various support services. Prior to that, they were the Director of Engineering and Plant Operations at Kaiser Permanente from 2019 to 2020, responsible for managing engineering, operations, and construction at the Santa Clara Medical Center. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Salinas Valley Health as the Senior Administrative Director of Facilities Management Services, where they led the installation, maintenance, and safety of buildings, equipment, and utilities for the health system. Before that, they were the Facilities Director at Mission Hospital and a Support Services Administrator at Kaiser Permanente. Additionally, Tak Saito has experience in education, having served as a Faculty Member at the University of Phoenix, teaching health administration and management courses. Tak began their career in 1990 at Adventist Health, where they worked as the Director of Facilities Management, responsible for facility management, maintenance, and planning at Lodi Memorial Hospital.
Tak Saito, MHA, CHFM has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fresno. Tak further pursued their education at the University of Southern California, where they obtained a Masters in Health Administration and a Master's Certificate in the Management of Ambulatory Care Centers. Additionally, they have achieved certifications as an Asbestos Consultant - Inspector/Management Planner from Cal OSHA Consultation in March 2023 and as a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager from the American Hospital Association in July 2017.
