Alan Hughes

Alan Hughes is an accomplished Senior Design Engineer at Marshalltown, with a diverse background in product development and engineering spanning over three decades. Previous roles include Product Development Manager at Southwestern Sales Company, where Alan developed a Tollgate-based system and designed multiple new products expected to generate significant annual sales. At PlayPower, Inc., Alan launched innovative playground systems and led cross-functional teams, while in earlier positions at EFCO a Pella Company, Pella Windows and Doors, and Superior Industries, Alan oversaw product design initiatives and quality improvements. Alan's engineering career began at McGoodwin, Williams & Yates and had an early start at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
