Kate Bowermaster

Kate Bowermaster is an experienced professional currently serving as the Workforce Development Director at the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce since August 2023. With a strong background in personal training, Kate has held positions at the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) and the MARSHALLTOWN YMCA-YWCA since November 2014 and January 2018, respectively. Prior experience includes roles at Bruin Manufacturing, where Kate worked from August 2014 to July 2023 as a Marketing/Culture Coordinator, Management Assistant, and Assistant Controller. Additional experience encompasses an Accounting Assistant position at Farmers Savings Bank from July 2012 to August 2014 and a Loan Servicing Specialist role at Wells Fargo between June 2010 and July 2012. Kate completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Iowa State University in 2010 and graduated from Marshalltown High School in 2006.
