Kim Jass-Ramirez

Kim Jass-Ramirez has extensive experience working in the YMCA industry. Kim began their career at McGaw YMCA in 2001, where they served as the Senior Director of Health & Wellness for nine years. In 2010, they joined Kishwaukee Family YMCA as the Senior Director of Healthy Living, a position they held until 2012. Kim then moved to Cedar Rapids Metro YMCA, where they held two different roles: Director of Mission Advancement & Healthy Living and Marion Branch Exec/Metro Health & Wellness. In 2016, Kim joined Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA as the Financial Development Director and later took on the role of Senior Program and Facilities Director. Since 2023, they have been serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the organization.

Kim Jass-Ramirez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wartburg College, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Kim then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Counseling & Social Psychology at Ball State University from 1997 to 1999. In terms of additional certifications, Kim completed the Nonprofit Leadership Center Management Essentials Online Connection program offered by The Allstate Foundation in October 2020.
