Agustin Casamayor

Chief Technology Officer at MARSIE

Agustin Casamayor started their career as a PhD student and software developer at ISISTAN - UNICEN in 2005. Agustin then became a teacher assistant at UNICEN from 2004 to 2012. In 2013, they joined IBM as a Technical Sales Engineer and later became a Senior Software Research Engineer at SilverGate@IBM, where they worked on research and development of innovative technological solutions. From 2015 to 2020, Agustin also worked as an Associate Researcher at Universidad CAECE. Agustin joined Universidad CAECE Mar del Plata in 2013 as an Associate Professor and Final Project Advisor. In 2019, Agustin co-founded Marsie, a software services company focused on creating a transparent and fully remote working framework for high-skilled software engineers. Agustin currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Marsie, leading the technological strategy and execution.

Agustin Casamayor completed a Bachelor's degree in Exact Sciences from the Instituto Albert Einstein from 1994 to 2000. Agustin then pursued a degree in Software Engineering from the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, which they completed from 2001 to 2006.
