Jason Winner

Jason Winner has a diverse work experience, starting as a Landscape Architecture Intern at Altamira Design in 2000. Jason then worked as a Planning & GIS Professional at Urban Design Studio, followed by a role as a Research Assistant - GIS and Planning at the University of Florida - Cross Florida Greenway Project. In 2002, they became the Regional Manager of Landscape Architecture at Johnson Engineering, Inc. and held that position until 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Program Manager at LandPlan Studio. Jason then moved on to work as a GIS Analyst at Pasco County Government from 2009 to 2010. Jason's next role was as a Conservation GIS Manager at Scenic Hudson from 2010 to 2014. Since 2014, they have held the position of Vice President at Marstel-Day, LLC. Additionally, Jason has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at University of Mary Washington, Wilmington University, and Marist University from 2014 to 2017.

Jason Winner has a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky. Jason also holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from Wilmington University and has completed a program on GIS and Planning Information Systems from the University of Florida. In terms of additional certifications, Jason obtained the Certified GIS Professional (GISP) designation from the GIS Certification Institute in December 2013. Jason also holds the LEED Accredited Professional designation from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), obtained in March 2009. Additionally, Jason is a Professional Landscape Architect, having obtained this title from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in May 2004.
