Cassandra Carruthers

Cassandra Carruthers (Shardlow) is an accomplished Senior Engagement Consultant at Project Centre Ltd, a position held since April 2021. Prior to this role, Cassandra dedicated over two decades to Derby City Council, where responsibilities evolved through various positions, including Markets Manager, Community Communications and Engagement Lead for the Our City Our River flood defence project, and Corporate Communications Lead. Cassandra's extensive experience also encompasses roles such as Marketing Lead for Regeneration and Community Services, Stakeholder Engagement Lead for the Connecting Derby infrastructure project, and Transportation Technician. Educationally, Cassandra holds a BA Hons in History and Social Science from the University of Derby, completed from 1992 to 1995, following earlier education at Deptford Green Secondary School from 1979 to 1984.
