Harry Slagel is the Co-Founder & CEO of martee ai, with previous roles as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Founders Factory and Nesta. Before that, Harry was the Co-Founder & CEO of Plateaway, which was acquired by Get Fudo. Harry also has experience in service and user experience design, working with companies like ENGINE | Transformation, Transform, Poq, Sky, and Network Global. Harry started their career as an apprentice at Network Global during university and gained internship experience at NurseryValue in digital marketing and UI design. Harry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in BA New Media, Communication and Media Studies from the University of Leeds and has pursued further education in design thinking facilitation and user experience and interaction design.

We’re addressing the sector-wide pain of forecasting consumer demand – which overpriced fresh products, restrictive ultra-processed options & empty ready-to-eat shelves are all symptoms of (in addition to the food waste we hear a lot about). At the core of our ML models, and simple BI interface, our (often overlooked) north star metric is availability on-shelf. Towards our vision of a data-enabled food system with reliable hyper-local availability of the products people want, we’re arming businesses with the tools they need to grow sales and customer satisfaction, without creating excessive food waste
