Alexandra Savoie, CPA, CMA

Alexandra Savoie, CPA, CMA has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting roles. Alexandra is currently the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Martello Technologies, where they support the Executive and Senior Leadership team in strategic and operational planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Manager at BlackBerry, where they supported the SVP and General Manager in financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the Blackberry Radar business line. Alexandra also proposed and implemented changes to improve efficiencies through automation of analysis and reporting. Alexandra has also held finance roles at Canada Post, MD Financial Management, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Bank of America, and MBNA Canada, where they provided financial analysis, planning, and advice to support strategic and operational decision-making. Alexandra has experience in managing financial analysts, developing financial models, and overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes.

Alexandra Savoie, CPA, CMA completed their education at Carleton University from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours, specializing in Finance. In 2005 to 2007, they attended CMA Ontario, where they completed the Strategic Leadership Program. In terms of certifications, they became a Certified Management Accountant in 2007 through the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario. Later, in 2014, they obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
