Brenan Sharp

Brenan Sharp has a diverse range of work experiences in creative roles. They are currently serving as the Senior Director of Creative Services at Martha O'Bryan Center, where they provide strategy and hands-on support for visual and written storytelling efforts. Brenan has also worked as an Art Director, Editor, and Visual Artist at BoldPlay Media, writing for various publications. At ABA Journal, Brenan held multiple roles including Design Director and Deputy Design Director, overseeing web and magazine production. They have also worked as an Editor and Illustrator at The Smoking Jacket, where they generated high levels of engagement with viral posts and infographics. Additionally, Brenan served as a Digital Art Director and Social Media Director at Alpha Media Group, creating branding for Maxim.com and leading social media efforts. In their earlier career, Brenan was a Senior Art Director at Publishing Group of America, designing covers, developing advertisements, and managing production.

Brenan Sharp has a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Fine Art with concentrations in Photography, Painting, and Printmaking from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In addition, Brenan has also completed an Executive Education course at the Yale School of Management, focusing on Leadership Strategies in Magazine and Digital Media Publishing.
