Lauran Halpin

Lauran Halpin is the Head of Impact Equities at Martin Currie, a position held since November 2022. Previously, Lauran served as Portfolio Manager for the Templeton Global Climate Change Fund at Franklin Templeton from September 2021 to November 2022. Lauran's extensive experience includes roles as Stewardship & Sustainability Lead and Investment Manager at Edinburgh Partners Limited from 2013 to 2022, where contributions included creating proprietary ESG scores and embedding ESG considerations into investment processes. Earlier, Lauran worked at Baillie Gifford as Fund Manager for the Glenfinlas Global Healthcare Fund and as a Global Healthcare Analyst. Lauran holds an MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Biology from Davidson College.
