Ernie Paschall

Ernie Paschall has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Ernie has held various roles in several companies, including Martin Marietta, Byte Firm Inc., Lexis Nexis, ANX, Teradata Applications, Martin Marietta Materials, CC Intelligent Solutions, Inphonic, Modulant Solutions, and Wachovia.

At Martin Marietta, Ernie served as the Director of Software Engineering, where they oversaw multiple software engineering teams responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality systems. Prior to this, they held the role of Sr Mgr, Software Development, and Solutions Architect Team Lead at the same company, where they were responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mobile and web applications.

Ernie founded Byte Firm, Inc., a consulting corporation, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer Consultant and Founder. Ernie undertook various projects, such as integration work on Best Buy's point-of-sale systems, financial systems consulting with Martin Marietta Materials, migration of an e-Filing Legal XML/SOAP system, and creation of SaaS web applications.

At Lexis Nexis, Ernie was a Senior Software Engineer, working as a full-stack web developer on a SCRUM team focused on UI overhaul for an existing SaaS application. Ernie also worked at ANX as a Senior Web Application Developer, providing leadership in web application development and migration of existing products to frameworks like AngularJS and Bootstrap.

Ernie has also held positions at Teradata Applications, Martin Marietta Materials, CC Intelligent Solutions, Inphonic, Modulant Solutions, and Wachovia, where they undertook various responsibilities related to software engineering, development, and implementation.

Throughout their career, Ernie has demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of technologies and programming languages, including C#, Node.js, T-SQL, PL-SQL, Java, JavaScript, XML, JSON, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Spring Boot, Apache Solr, Groovy/Grails, ASP.NET MVC, and more. Ernie'swork experience showcases their expertise in software engineering, development, team leadership, and architectural guidance.

Ernie Paschall attended Appalachian State University from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.
