Zack Joyner

Zack Joyner has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Zack started their career at Allstate as an Inside Sales representative in 2005 and then worked at The Home Depot in various roles from 2007 to 2011. Zack later joined the NC Employment Securities Commission as a Summer Associate in 2012, where they gained experience in legal research and document drafting. In 2013, they worked at Taibi Kornbluth as a Legal Analyst, focusing on analyzing discovery documents and preparing legal motions. In 2014, they joined IBM as an Associate in Immigration, providing counsel and filing immigration petitions. Zack was promoted to Senior Associate and oversaw a team handling visa petitions before leaving IBM in 2018. Since 2018, Zack has been with Martin Marietta, starting as a Compensation Analyst and progressing to the roles of Senior Compensation Analyst, Manager of Compensation, and currently the Director of Compensation. In these roles, they have been responsible for planning and implementing annual pay and bonus cycles, conducting compensation evaluations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and providing consultation on remuneration.

Zack Joyner holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science - Law and Justice from North Carolina State University. Zack is also licensed to practice law in North Carolina by the North Carolina State Bar. In addition to their legal education, Zack has obtained various certifications in areas such as human resources, data science, cognitive computing, enterprise design thinking, big data, and blockchain from institutions like IBM and the HR Certification Institute. Zack has also completed training in chatbot building.
