Andie Poole

Andie Poole, APR has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Andie is currently a Partner & Owner at Martin Waymire, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President at Martin Waymire from December 2017 to January 2022. Before their role as Vice President, Andie worked as a Senior Account Executive at the same company from May 2014 to December 2017.

In addition to their work at Martin Waymire, Andie has also worked as an Instructor at Michigan State University College of Communication Arts and Sciences since December 2022, and they will continue in this role until May 2023.

Andie's previous experience includes serving as the Director of High School Programming at Varsity Vocals since June 2009 until January 2022, where they played a pivotal role in the growth and success of the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) competition. Andie also served as the Midwest Producer for ICCA and ICHSA competitions around the Midwest from May 2006 to May 2009.

Before their time at Varsity Vocals, Andie worked at TechSmith Corporation, where they held various marketing roles, including Product Marketing Manager from April 2013 to May 2014, Marketing Content Strategist from May 2012 to April 2013, and Marketing Generalist from May 2011 to May 2012.

Andie also served as the Alumni Coordinator, College of Communication Arts & Sciences at Michigan State University from April 2008 to May 2011. Prior to this, Andie worked as a Legislative Assistant at Michigan Senate Democrats from August 2007 to May 2008 and as a Project Assistant at Michigan Legislative Consultants from September 2006 to August 2007.

Andie's early career includes serving as an Operations Coordinator at Teach for America from June 2005 to August 2005. Andie has a strong background in marketing, communications, public relations, and event coordination.

Andie Poole, APR holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Public Relations from Michigan State University, which was obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, Andie Poole obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Michigan State University, which was earned from 2003 to 2007. Furthermore, Andie Poole has achieved the Accreditation in Public Relations (PR) certification from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in 2019.
