Mike Leal

Mike Leal is an experienced manufacturing leader with a robust background in Lean manufacturing and operations management. Currently serving as Vice President of Lean Manufacturing at Martinrea International since April 2015, Mike is responsible for company-wide Lean implementation. Previously, Mike held several key positions at Toyota Motor Corporation from 2003 to 2015, culminating in the role of Project General Manager in the Operations Management Development Division, where expertise in the Toyota Production System was developed. Notable achievements include overseeing the Body Weld and Stamping new model launch of the Camry across multiple plants and leading Toyota's largest Stamping Plant in North America, which earned the Harbour Award for efficiency. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management from GMI Engineering and Management Institute.
