Lara Rosen

Lara Rosen began their work experience in 2009 as an English>Spanish Translator at Family Enhancement. Lara then worked as a Planning Law Project Assistant at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2010, they also worked as a Child Support Policy Project Assistant and a Health Policy Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Institute for Research on Poverty.

Rosen's work experience continued in 2011, where they worked as a Fiscal Policy Consultant at the City of Milwaukee and as a Local Roads & Finance Project Assistant at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. In 2012, they became a Budget & Policy Analyst at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

From 2013 to 2015, Rosen served as a Budget Analyst at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for MassHealth. Lara then transitioned to the role of a Planning Analyst at Maine Medical Center from 2015 to 2017.

Afterwards, Rosen worked as a Health Analyst at Mathematica from 2017 to 2020 before joining Martin's Point Health Care as a Senior Medical Economics Analyst in February 2020. In this role, they analyzed financial and clinical data, monitored medical expense trends, and supported the development of the medical expense budget and forecasting. Lara also collaborated with leaders to implement clinical programs and manage medical expense.

Lara Rosen holds a BA degree in Spanish from Grinnell College, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Lara then pursued further education and obtained an M.A. degree in Spanish from the University of Iowa between 2004 and 2006. In the years 2009 to 2012, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they pursued an M.S./M.P.A. degree in Urban and Regional Planning and Public Affairs.
