Scott Edgecomb has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Scott started their career at UPS in 1991, where they worked until 1997. Scott then joined Maine Medical Center as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in 1996. Afterward, they worked at Mercy Health System of Maine, where they held various roles, including Registered Respiratory Therapist, RN Lead- Critical Care, Manager of the Critical Care Unit, and Mercy Thoracic Surgery & Critical Care. In 2005, Scott became the Business Owner of Heaven & Earth Day Spa and Wellness Center. Scott later joined the American Lung Association of the Northeast as a Board of Directors Member in 2014. Currently, Scott is working at Martin's Point Health Care, where they have served as the Clinical Operations Manager at the Portland Health Care Center, Director of Practice Operations III, and currently holds the position of Director of Clinical Integration.

Scott Edgecomb attended the Daniel Hanley Center for Health Leadership from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained a degree in Healthcare Leadership Development. Prior to this, they attended the University of Southern Maine, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Scott also studied Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist at Southern Maine Community College. Scott later returned to the University of Southern Maine to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Before their college studies, Scott completed their high school education at Gorham High School. Additionally, Scott has obtained certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
