Masayuki Omoto

Masayuki Omoto is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in digital innovation and business development, currently serving as Chief Digital Innovation Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Next Generation Business Development at Marubeni Corporation since April 2016. Previously, Masayuki held the position of Chief Operating Officer at SmartestEnergy from April 2014 to March 2016, and served as Assistant General Manager in the LNG Department at Marubeni Corporation, focusing on establishing a global value chain for natural gas to power. Masayuki's earlier roles include General Manager responsible for investment strategies in the power sector in North America and the Caribbean, as well as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Academically, Masayuki earned an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and holds a degree from Waseda University.
