Matthias Lienert

Matthias Lienert has extensive work experience as a scientist, starting from their role as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München in 2011. Matthias then went on to work as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Researcher at Rutgers University in 2016, followed by a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen in 2018. In 2021, Lienert worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Postdoktorand) at Universität der Bundeswehr München, and in 2022, they started a role as a Scientist at Marvel Fusion.

Matthias Lienert holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitat Munchen, which they earned from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Physik at The University of Göttingen from 2007 to 2010. Matthias also has a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge Part III. Additionally, they have completed several certification courses in machine learning and data science from Coursera, including a Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Introduction to Data Science with Python from the University of Michigan.
