Brig Dilbag Singh Sandhu, VSM (Veteran) has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Brig Dilbag singh served in the Indian Army from 1979 to 2011 in various roles, including Commandant of an Armoured Regiment, Director at Integrated HQ, Ministry Of Defence, and Instructor at Army War College. Their responsibilities included overseeing operational, security, and intelligence aspects at the national level, analyzing security situations, allocating forces, facilitating large-scale movements of personnel and resources, establishing new organizations, and allocating forces to UN missions abroad. In 2015, they joined Marvel Vinyls Limited as Vice President.

In 1992 and 1993, Sandhu pursued another Master's degree, this time in defence and strategic studies at the University of Madras.

In 2003 and 2004, Sandhu attended Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyaleya in Indore, where they completed a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) degree in Defence Management.
