Alex Gu has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as a Staff Engineer in Foundry Operations at Marvell Semiconductor since July 2014, where responsibilities include acting as a liaison among various engineering teams and monitoring production yields for multiple system-on-chip (SoC) products. Previously, Alex worked as a Senior Engineer in the same department at Marvell, and held internships at Qualcomm, focusing on power amplifier performance and RF device testing, as well as at Peregrine Semiconductor, assisting in the development and characterization of Silicon-on-Sapphire technology. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Fudan University and further studies in Physics and Nanoscience through a visiting research scholarship at National Tsing Hua University and graduate education at UC San Diego.
