Chris Koopmans

Chris Koopmans is Marvell’s Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Operations, responsible for global corporate marketing, R&D integration efforts, driving program management and pricing programs, and leading other company-wide initiatives. Previously, he led Marvell’s Networking & Connectivity business.

Prior to joining Marvell in 2016, Chris served as Vice President and General Manager of Service Provider Platforms at Citrix Systems, where he drove the company’s strategy for the communications service-provider market. Chris joined Citrix with the acquisition of ByteMobile in 2012, a company he had co-founded and served as COO. Earlier in his career, he worked as an engineer at Intel Corporation and SGI.

Chris earned a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, and was subsequently awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. He has more than 10 patents issued to date.
