Pravin Kumar Venkatesan

Pravin Kumar Venkatesan is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on ASIC design and LiDAR technology. Currently serving as a Sr. Principal Engineer and Technical Director at Marvell Technology since October 2022, Pravin previously held senior leadership roles at Velodyne Lidar from October 2016 to October 2022, managing teams and overseeing the design of advanced LiDAR chipsets. Pravin's extensive background includes work as a Principal Engineer at Rambus, where expertise in high-speed multi-protocol SerDes was developed, and as an Analog Engineer at National Semiconductor, where critical analog components for RFID systems were designed. Educational qualifications include a BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MSc in Biological Sciences from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
