Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center
Addie Barron is a Medical Physics Resident at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center since August 2018, holding a Master of Science in Medical Physics from Louisiana State University, earned between 2015 and 2018. Prior to this role, Addie served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Louisiana State University, instructing Physics 2108 classes and grading lab reports. Experience also includes roles as a Student Worker at Centenary College of Louisiana, where responsibilities involved grading for the Biophysics department and preparing chemistry labs, as well as participation in undergraduate research programs at the University of Florida and Louisiana Biomedical Research Network under esteemed faculty members in the fields of biophysics and biochemistry. Addie obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from Centenary College of Louisiana from 2011 to 2015.
