Roy W. Lamkin is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Custom Factory, a software solutions company. He is also the former President of Control Systems International, Inc., a global provider of networked integrated solutions for information and control functions in buildings. Additionally, Mr. Lamkin brings 20 years of manufacturing, systems, and software management experience at Texas Instruments, and now acts as a consultant in the field.
In addition to his professional career, Mr. Lamkin is extremely active in the Dallas community. He has served on numerous boards for the Baylor Scott & White network all over North Texas, including as the former chair of the BSWHealth-North Division Board, a former member of the Baylor Health Care System Board of Trustees, and former chair of the Regional Hospital Boards of Plano and Carrollton. Mr. Lamkin has also been the former chair of Need Him Global Ministries, a former member of the Dallas Baptist University Advisory Council, and a former national board member of the American Electronics Association.
Mr. Lamkin received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and his MBA from Southern Methodist University.
