Ingrid Cheslek has a strong background in healthcare leadership and operations. Ingrid started their career at Metro Health Hospital in 1999, where they served as the Director of Surgical Services before moving up to the role of Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer. In this role, they demonstrated expertise in financial management, program development, and fostering positive patient experiences. In 2015, they transitioned to Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, first as the Chief Clinical Operations Officer/Chief Nursing Officer and later as the Chief Operations Officer. With their collaborative and strategic approach, Ingrid has been successful in building strong relationships with physicians, staff, and frontline leaders, contributing to high-performing healthcare teams.
Ingrid Cheslek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Ferris State University (2003), a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University (1998-2000), a Bachelor's Degree in Health Studies from Western Michigan University (1992-1994), and an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Nursing from Ferris State University (1981-1982). Ingrid also has a certification as an ANCC - Nurse Executive, Advanced from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
