William Lennarz, MD, MMM, FAAP, FAAEM has extensive experience in pediatric care and emergency medicine. William served as the Chief Medical Officer for Pediatrics and VP of Children's Services at Bon Secours Health System from 2010 onwards, where they were responsible for the development and growth of a comprehensive children's program. Prior to that, they worked as the Medical Director for Pediatric Emergency Services at Legacy Health from 2005 to 2009, where they successfully built a 24/7 pediatric emergency medicine department. Before that, they served as the Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Virginia Emergency Associates, Inc, and St. Mary's Hospital from 1992 to 2005, where they established the first pediatric emergency department in both Richmond and Virginia, and oversaw its expansion to 14 beds.

Dr. William Lennarz has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained between 1976 and 1981. William then attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1981 to 1985. Dr. Lennarz completed their Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Virginia Hospitals and School of Medicine from 1985 to 1988, focusing on critical care. Later, they pursued their Master of Medical Management degree from the USC Marshall School of Business, specializing in Business/Health Care from 2010 to 2012.
