Medical Director Of Informatics at Mary Washington Healthcare Incorporated

Gregory Szlyk is the founder and president of unisonMD, a cloud-based application for census management and revenue cycle optimization, established in 2010. As the Medical Director of Informatics at Mary Washington Healthcare since January 2007, Gregory Szlyk oversees clinical informatics systems and chairs the Physician Informatics Council, focusing on improving clinical workflows and patient safety. In addition, Gregory Szlyk developed the daVinci Robotic Surgery Program at Mary Washington Hospital and currently serves as the Advisory Board Member for Rappahannock Health Connect, contributing to the establishment of an electronic community health record. Gregory Szlyk also leads the IT Subcommittee for the Mary Washington Health Alliance and serves as a surgeon at Urology Associates of Fredericksburg. Educational qualifications include a MD from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and a BA in Neuroscience from Brandeis University.
