Sausheen Taylor M.D.

Sausheen Taylor MD MBA serves as the Hospital Service Line Director at Mary Washington Healthcare since March 2020, overseeing physician practices within the acute care medicine service line. Prior to this role, Sausheen Taylor held positions including Director of Hospital Medicine at Sound Physicians, where responsibilities included stabilizing a transitioning program and participating in the Medical Executive Committee, and Director of Hospital Medicine at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, leading a team of Hospitalists. Additionally, Sausheen Taylor was an Assistant Director of Hospital Medicine and an academic faculty member at Northwell Health, recognized as Professor of the Year in 2014, and achieved a perfect board pass rate that same year. Early career experience includes serving as Chief Medical Resident and Resident Doctor at The New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. Sausheen Taylor holds an Executive MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and an MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Stony Brook University.
