Meredith Nichols is an experienced scientific programmer and analyst, currently working at Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) since August 2021 in support of NASA's Global Modeling and Assimilation Office. Meredith also serves as an adjunct faculty instructor for Marine Oceanography at Howard Community College, promoting interconnections among ocean sciences. As an active member of the Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad, Meredith holds certifications as a Maryland Emergency Medical Technician and a firefighter. Furthermore, past roles include geospatial data programming for KBR, where Python and GIS technologies were applied, and various programming analyst positions within NOAA.
