Sarah Horta M.p.s.

Sarah Horta M.P.S., with a specialization in Cybersecurity and credentials as a Managed Cyber Forensics Expert (MCFE), currently serves as the Director of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships at the Maryland Economic Development Corporation since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Business Development Director - Cyber and Technology and Business Development Associate at the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation from May 2017 to October 2022, and as Cyber Incubator Manager at bwtech@UMBC Cyber Incubator from September 2014 to May 2017. Sarah began their career as a Cyber Research Analyst Intern at the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development and has held positions at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and the US Department of Homeland Security. Educational qualifications include an AAS in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity from Anne Arundel Community College, a Master’s Degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the same institution.
