Abraham Burickson

Abraham Burickson serves as the Artistic Director at Odyssey Works since 2001 and as the Lead Experience Design Faculty at the Maryland Institute College of Art since May 2022, where instruction occurs in the Graphic Design MFA program. Additionally, Abraham co-directs the Odyssey Works Experience Design Certificate Program and the Experience Design Certificate Program, both initiated in January 2022 and August 2021 respectively. As a co-founder of Odyssey Works Workshops since February 2015, Abraham has been engaged in crafting transformative experiences through collaborative design informed by empathy. Abraham is also the Principal of The Long Architecture Project since October 2018. Educational credentials include an MFA in Writing from The University of Texas at Austin and dual Bachelor's degrees in Architecture from Cornell University.
