Andrew Jacobson

Andrew Jacobson is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in law, art, and education. Currently serving as a Special Assistant at the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities since August 2023, Andrew also operates as Principal at both The Law Office of Andrew S. Jacobson LLC and Balmore Consulting, LLC. In addition to contributions as a writer for The Washington Informer, Andrew teaches a course titled “The Business of Art” at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Other roles include Capstone Advisor at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies and Guest Commentator for The Baltimore Sun. Andrew's past experience includes serving as a Research Fellow for the New York City Bar Association’s Structured Finance Committee. Andrew holds a Doctor of Law from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Management from The Catholic University of America.
