Jennifer White-Johnson serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Maryland Institute College of Art since September 2022, focusing on the Art and Design College Accelerator Program (ADCAP) Workshop. Previously, Jennifer was a Guest Lecturer at the University of Minnesota, specializing in design justice as it relates to disability and racism. As the owner of JT Photo & Design from 2006 to 2022, Jennifer emphasized redefining ableist visual culture to empower Black Neurodivergent children. Jennifer held the position of Assistant Professor of Visual Communication Design at Bowie State University for over a decade, teaching various graphic design courses. Additionally, Jennifer has experience as an adjunct professor and instructor at various institutions, contributing to the education and empowerment of students in visual and digital arts. Jennifer holds an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a BA in Visual Arts/Graphic Design from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
