Ellen Walter is a seasoned graphic design and visual media professional with extensive experience in managing diverse projects within the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission since November 2014, currently serving as the Graphic Design and Visual Media Manager. This role involves overseeing the production of over 1,500 graphic design products and more than 200 photography and videography requests annually, while ensuring timely delivery. Previously, as a Senior Graphic Designer, Ellen contributed to the marketing and branding efforts of the Public Affairs and Marketing Division by creating various print materials and signage. Ellen's freelance and contract work included diverse design projects and a role at The Creative Industry. Earlier career experiences were with Resources for the Future, The Dana Foundation, and the European Dana Alliance for the Brain, where Ellen developed skills in design, production, and event management. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts with a minor in History from Mount Saint Mary's University, completed in 2005.
