Evan Tenenbaum, AICP, currently serves as a Planner II with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission since January 2023. Previously, Evan held the position of Senior Transportation Planner at the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, where responsibilities included researching federal grants and participating in regional planning studies. As a Transportation/MPO Planner for the City of Durham, Evan managed various transportation projects, supported MPO Board meetings, and developed the City’s first shared micro-mobility program. Additional experience includes roles as a GIS Analyst at Leon Capital Group, GIS Research Intern at Dallas Area Rapid Transit, and multiple internships with the New York City Department of Transportation and Workers Defense Project. Evan holds a Master of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Geography and Urban Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
