Tom Williams Apr

Tom Williams, APR has a wide range of experience in the field of communications. Tom most recently served as the Senior Managing Director of Communications at Maryland Public Television, where they have been since 2015. Prior to this role, they held the position of Managing Director of Communications at the same company from 2015 to 2022. From 2011 to 2015, Tom worked as a Senior Public Relations Specialist/Writer at Textron Systems. Before that, they worked as a Principal at a Public Relations/Strategic Communications Consultant from 2010 to 2011. Tom also worked as a Strategic Communication Manager at MPRI / L-3 Communications from 2002 to 2009 and as the Director of High Tech Practice at IMRE in 2001. From 1994 to 2001, they held the position of Vice President of Public Relations at TBC. Tom's early career includes working as an Account Supervisor at Travers Collins & Company from 1986 to 1994.

Tom Williams, APR attended Bishop Timon High School from 1975 to 1979, where they completed the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Tom then pursued higher education at St. Bonaventure University from 1979 to 1983, majoring in Mass Communications with a focus on Journalism and Public Relations.
