Doug Seidler serves as the Director of the School of Design + Art and Chair and Associate Professor of Interior Architecture + Design at Marymount University since August 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing course offerings, managing the department budget, and appointing part-time faculty. Previously, Seidler was an Assistant Professor at both Suffolk University and the Boston Architectural College, imparting knowledge across a diverse range of design studios at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Seidler has held various leadership roles within the Interior Design Educators Council, including Past President and President of the Board of Directors. Prior design experience includes positions at Ellenzweig, Morris Architects, and The Scott Partnership Architecture, contributing to projects specializing in educational and medical facilities, among others. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture from the University of Florida and a Certificate in Design Education from the Boston Architectural College.
