Ariste Sallas-Brookwell, LICSW, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at The Catholic University of America since January 2023 and operates a private practice as a therapist since January 2021. From April 2018 to June 2023, Ariste held various roles at Mary's Center, including Director of Behavioral Health Integration and Maternal Mental Health Program Manager. Ariste's experience includes significant positions at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) from May 2012 to April 2018, where Ariste worked as Program Manager for the Women's Preventive Services Initiative and in various program associate roles. Earlier experience includes a social work externship at Catholic University of America's Student Counseling Center and an internship at Community Connections, Inc. Ariste holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Clinical Social Work from The Catholic University of America and a BA in Political Science, Gender and Health from the University of Michigan.
