Vaughn Anderson

Vaughn Anderson is an academic specializing in English and Humanities with extensive teaching experience. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Maryville University of Saint Louis since August 2017, Vaughn previously held the position of Adjunct Professor at St. Louis University from July 2016 to August 2019, teaching various writing courses. At Maryville University from September 2015 to August 2019, Vaughn designed and taught composition courses, including one that explored the significance of the monstrous in Western cultures. Prior teaching roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University, where original online courses in comparative literature were developed, and positions as a Visiting Museum Guide and English language teacher in Ecuador. Vaughn holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from Rutgers University and a BA in English and Spanish from Vassar College.
