Amanthi Perera

Amanthi Perera is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability leadership, currently serving as the Head of Social Sustainability and General Manager of Sustainable Business at MAS Holdings since July 2007. Amanthi has a strong background in strategic sustainability, previously holding roles such as Deputy General Manager for Eco Go Beyond and Manager of Strategic Sustainability. Prior experience includes work as a Project Assistant for the Climate Change Enabling Activity Project at the Global Affairs Division of the Ministry of Environment of Sri Lanka and as an Editor and Publications Officer at Environmental Foundation Limited. Amanthi holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from the Open University of Sri Lanka, complemented by secondary education from St. Bridget’s Convent in Colombo.
