Peter Hjorth has extensive work experience in various roles within the companies they have worked for. Peter started their career as a Regional Export Manager at Kema A/S in 1997 and worked there until 2001. Peter then joined ITW and held positions such as International Sales Director and General Sales Manager from 2001 to 2007. In 2007, they became the General Manager at ITW and later took on the role of Interim Operations Director from 2012 to 2013. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Group General Manager at ITW. In 2014, they joined Mascot International A/S as the Market Director, where they currently work.

Peter further enhanced their managerial skills by participating in various international programs. In 2012, they completed an IMPM module at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Peter also obtained a certificate from Renmin University of China that year as part of the Certificate IMPM program, where they studied cultural studies, critical theory, and analysis. Additionally, in 2013, they completed a program called IMPM at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
