Rebecca Lord Gomez

Rebecca Lord Gomez is currently the Director of Education at Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. Prior to this role, Rebecca held positions at Uncommon Schools as the Senior Manager of History and at North Star Academy Charter School of Newark as the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction. Rebecca also worked at New York University as a Reference, Circulation & Collections Assistant, and as a Seventh Grade English Teacher at Achievement First and NYC Department of Education. Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University, a Master of Library & Information Science from Long Island University, a Master of Arts in Childhood Education from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Arts in American History and Music from Ithaca College.
